C.A.S.C was established by the support of District Administration. With Nominated Dist., Official's , in the year 2007 as an autonomous body for promotion of adventure in chikamagalur district & in Karnataka. And in the neighboring state with the co-operation of the respective state government. This club is a non-profit group which runs based on volunteers effort and like minded adventure seeking people.
         Chikamagalur district have with it's unique geographical features, has every kind of terrain except snow-clad mountains. It is also an western Ghats and thick forest with an wield animals , plants, etc. ,. For out ward bound activities on land, water and sky. This provides vast opportunities to adventure, nature and environmental studies. To take adventure to the grassroots, the club has identified areas of operation throughout chikamagalure dist. Subentries for various specializations.Camping. Wilderness survival, forest explorations, Aero & Aqua sports are planned at remote corners of the state to attract local youth. This is in contrast to what is believed as Adventure sports for the elite. The club Aims to reach all sections of the population in our society and bring in them a spirit of adventure to meet the challenges of the new era.
